Frequently Asked Questions
Does it require construction work to install the Solar Tree?
No. Installation is modular and fast—taking between 4 and 8 hours per unit, with no heavy construction or underground cabling required. We provide a free technical assessment prior to the proposal to recommend the ideal model for your space.
Does it work at night or on cloudy days?
Yes. In the on-grid model, the system uses the power grid when solar generation is insufficient. In the off-grid model, the batteries provide up to 3 days of autonomy without sunlight—keeping lights, cameras, and the S.O.S. button operational even without solar generation.
How does revenue work for the municipality?
The Solar Tree generates three shared revenue streams: an LED screen featuring programmatic media for local advertising, an EV Charger with integrated billing transferred to the city government, and Wi-Fi sponsored by local businesses. All revenue is managed through the platform with automated reporting.
How many structures does my city need?
A single structure already transforms a space — the community sees and feels the immediate impact. With 5 or more units, you get an integrated view of the entire downtown area with neighborhood-level dashboards. With 20 or more, the city gains a networked Civil Defense system and an open API for integration with municipal platforms. We provide sizing and planning free of charge.
Is it possible to integrate with city hall systems?
Yes. The Solar Tree features an open API (RESTful + MQTT) compatible with Smart City platforms, Civil Defense systems, and other municipal systems. Technical documentation is available for evaluation by the city's IT team prior to procurement.
Do the cameras comply with the LGPD?
Yes. All faces are automatically blurred by the Smart Box prior to any storage or transmission — no biometric data is collected. The Solar Tree operates in full compliance with the LGPD (General Data Protection Law). The documentation is available on the management dashboard for bidding and procurement processes.
